3mm Basic EVA Foam Underlayment With Golden Film For Floating Floor Noise Reduction
Introduction:
EVA foam is high density material with embossed film, which is normally used for SPC flooring, to overcome the minor subfloor imperfections and insulate the noise
EVA underlay has a variety of applications. They can be used under Engineered wood floor, Luxury Vinyl tile, SPC tile and plank floorings and even laminate floors.
Using EVA underlay as a base to your wood, vinyl and laminate flooring has a few advantages.
1) Get sound absorbtion to reduce impact and click noises.
2) Use EVA underlay to smooth out the undulations in your floor
3) Hollow step sounds are also absorbed to give you a more muted walk effect. Much more so than it would be without an underlay
4) Provide your wood floors with EVA for moisture protection coming off the sub floor with its silver backing.

How to Install
Step 1: Clean Your Subfloor
Clean your subfloor using your broom and dustpan so that it is free of any foreign objects.
Step 2: Roll Out Your Underlayment
Roll your underlayment next to the wall. Start in the corner to keep it as even as possible across the room.
Step 3: Cut the Section
Once you have your underlayment firmly in place, cut the section using your scissors or utility knife.
Step 4: Roll Out the Next Section
Roll out the next section with the tape side over the overlapping film on the previous section.
Step 5: Butt Underlayment
Butt your underlayment sections together so that the tape side is flush up against the other piece of underlayment and on top of the overlapping film.
Step 6: Cut Section
Cut the next section of underlayment.
